The Dell computer box has become a school room again. The next class of Einsteins have arrived.
These guys - and gals - are Bronze turkeys. You know, the traditional Pilgrim Thanksgiving turkey.

One day old - pretty cute, eh? Look fast, because they don't stay "cute" for long...

Aha - the Turkey Wart. Proof positive that they aren't chickens, pheasants, or grouse babies.

They take to school with natural enthusiasm.
"Look, it says 97 degrees. Is that Farhenheit or Celsius? It is so confusing. Please, someone explain the metric system to me."
"And by the way - shouldn't that be reading 95 degrees? You know we are delicate, we must be kept at 95 degrees during this first week at Dell school. But...is that Celsius or Farhenheit??"
Little turkey. He's got a lot to learn.

I finally caught up looking at your posts! The last time I looked, you posted the one of Elyse sleeping!! You are such a fantastic cook. I loved the animal pictures...especially the one of Than hugging the pig :-). I want to make lip balm some day! There is never a dull moment at your house, is there?!
