Game's on!

The punks love board games. The game closet is well supplied with a variety of educational and fun games. They can give you a run for your money with chess, even Jayden. While they do love the wii, and other video games, it's good to see them interact and learn on a more personal level.

Here's a game I recently discovered. I had to recruit the guys to help me learn to play it...

It's all about herbs, obviously, so we had mint tea made with mint, catnip, and alfalfa that we had harvested from the herb bed to sip while playing. The punks are good sports about sampling gramma's experiments. They liked the ice cold tea - they had been working outside.
This game is unusual in that it stresses co-operative play, rather than "I'm the winner, I beat you!". I was very impressed with the level of research and development it had undergone before landing on our table.

We all decided it was a good game, we learned a lot about the plants - and went through a whole bag of pretzels.
