Back in the Saddle Again

Our projected 12" of snow turned out to only be a measley 8-9" - but we're not complaining, it got the snowmobiles over to the cabin. That was AFTER Brent came over the evening of the storm day, and cleared the driveway and parking area with the snowthrower . The additional snow on top of the foot already on the ground made a grand base for snow games.
This afternoon Carrie hauled the punks and the snowmobiles over. No, Max didn't ride the snowmobile from the farm - but he sure does a good imitation, doesn't he? Almost as loud as a snowmobile, too.
The older boys are real handy with heavy stuff now, especially if they see some fun coming after the labor.

Max was glued to the seat, I think he was figuring they would unload him along with the snowmobile and he'd be off and running!

Carrie is the best boy's mom ever - she's tough and buff and handles what ever comes up - or goes down.

She also gets the first ride...
SOMEBODY has to break trail, right?

Then the punks mounted up.....Collin in blue ....

Than in red. Makes it easier to see who has plowed into the gully.

Collin was getting instructions - "Don't run over gramma, she is having a bit of challenge getting her boot out of the snow..."

All paths lead back to the cabin - that's where the cookies and hot chocolate (with marshmallows) hang out.

Once in awhile mommy has to go out and retrieve one of the rigs. The punks have to walk in...

Until next time...."Happy trails to you, until we meet again..."

Maybe next time gramma will get a turn...
