Victorio Encore

There's been some inquiry and feedback on the previous post. Yes, the Victorio lives up to its advertising - and although I haven't used it for applesauce yet, my friend who has used it for years swears it's the greatest for doing applesauce.
I managed to hire a couple of little Italian guys to help with the next batch of tomatoes. Victorio - Italian - get it? Anyway, I really struck gold with these two employees. Hard working...

good quality control....
and great team players. They did about 20 pounds for me, and really took some pressure off my feet and my still-healing incision. What a crew!
The Victorio is so nice to use - even a child (or short Italian) can run it. It's about $60, in case you were wondering. And worth every penny - a great investment if you enjoy putting up your own juices and sauces and using every last late ripener from the garden.

Oh, the wages. Would you believe they only wanted their own individual boxes of apple juice -with straw, of course. They are at the top of my "call for help" list!

I don't know Ethel ---- I think we should get some grapes and stomp on them. What do you think? Guess it wouldn't be as much fun as watching your helpers slave away, eh?

Love,

Lucy

I love your blog...read it often, though I don't always have time to post notes. Love the pics...but don't forget to push the lighting button on the top of the camera, and then scroll through the light types (cloud, indoor light, sun, etc.) and then hit the middle button (in the circle) to choose which you want. It will make our indoor pics less yellow :> If you use the flash, remember to choose the flash icon regardless of the type of light.

Wow...what great helpers! Only, weren't they blond the last time I saw pictures of them? :) I'm STILL canning tomatoes too. I've never had this many from my garden before!

Your Victorio is way cooler than mine. I better see how much it costs to upgrade. I use it for everything except changing diapers.
